I am an amateur photographer specializing in capturing wildlife and nature. I'm a biology major at Cornell University, and I love hiking, birding, and scuba diving. My current plans involve taking a year or two off after college to do field work and research, then return to the academia scene as a marine biology graduate student.

I first got involved in photography when I started learning all of the local birds in the north-east. I wanted to see them and get pictures of them. That passion grew until I had my own digital camera and was capturing the beauty of birds and other creatures everywhere I went. I currently use a Canon 6D SLR with a variety of lenses to focus on everything from landscapes to owls to moose.
